KAHALA CORP. ANNOUNCES RAPID EXPANSION OF SURF CITY SQUEEZE CONCEPT THROUGHOUT CANADA

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz.-(BUSINESS WIRE)-Kahala Corp., a Florida corporation formerly known as Sports Group International, Inc. (OTC BB: KAHA.OB) (the "Company") - today announced that the 20th franchised Surf City Squeeze outlet in Canada recently opened for business. The Company also announced that is expects two additional Surf City Squeeze franchised outlets to open in Canada by March 31, 2001, bringing the total franchised Surf City Squeeze outlets in Canada to 22. The first franchised Surf City Squeeze outlet in Canada opened approximately two years ago, and there were 14 franchised Surf City Squeeze outlets operating in Canada as of December 31, 1999.
